General Terms and Conditions (GTC) House of Seeds

1. Introductory Provisions

1.1. These general terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as "terms and conditions") of Weedo Lifestyle & Media GmbH, with registered office at Machtlfinger Str. 21, 81379 Munich, registered in the commercial register under no. HRB 238298, VAT ID: DE316809168 (hereinafter referred to as "seller"), regulate in accordance with the provision of § 1751 paragraph 1 of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., Civil Code (hereinafter referred to as "Civil Code"), the mutual rights and obligations of the contracting parties arising in connection with or on the basis of a purchase contract (hereinafter referred to as "purchase contract") concluded between the seller and another natural person (hereinafter referred to as "buyer") through the seller's online store at house-of-seeds.cz.

1.2. Age restriction: Due to the nature of the goods sold (cannabis Seeds) and in accordance with the Cannabis Regulation Act (effective from 01.01.2026), the sale of goods is permitted exclusively to persons over 21 years of age. The buyer confirms compliance with this condition upon entering the website and during the ordering process.

2. User Account and Data Protection

2.1. Based on the buyer's registration on the website, the buyer can access their user interface. Here they can place orders for goods. The buyer can also place orders without registration.

2.2. The rules for processing personal data are stated in the document Data Protection.

3. Conclusion of the Purchase Contract

3.1. All product presentations placed in the online store interface are for informational purposes only, and the seller is not obliged to conclude a purchase contract regarding these goods. The provision of § 1732 paragraph 2 of the Civil Code does not apply.

3.2. The online store interface contains information about the goods, including the prices of individual goods and the costs for returning goods if these goods cannot be returned by usual postal means due to their nature. Prices of goods are stated including value-added tax.

3.3. The purchase contract is concluded at the moment the seller sends the buyer a confirmation of shipment of the goods to the buyer's email address.

4. Price of Goods and Payment Terms

4.1. The buyer may pay the price of the goods and any costs associated with the delivery of the goods under the purchase contract to the seller by the following methods:

  • Cashless by payment card;
  • Cashless via the payment system Vorkasse, Kreditkarte.

4.2. Together with the purchase price, the buyer is obliged to pay the seller also the costs associated with packaging and delivery of the goods in the agreed amount.

5. Withdrawal from the Purchase Contract

5.1. The buyer (consumer) has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract in accordance with the provision of § 1829 paragraph 1 of the Civil Code, within fourteen (14) days from receipt of the goods.

5.2. For withdrawal from the purchase contract, the buyer may use the sample form attached to these terms and conditions.

5.3. If the buyer withdraws from the purchase contract, the buyer bears the costs associated with returning the goods to the seller, even if the goods cannot be returned by usual postal means due to their nature.

6. Rights from Defective Performance (Complaints)

6.1. The rights and obligations of the contracting parties regarding rights from defective performance are governed by the relevant generally binding legal regulations (especially the provisions of §§ 1914 to 1925, 2099 to 2117, and 2161 to 2174 of the Civil Code and Act No. 634/1992 Coll., on Consumer Protection).

6.2. The seller guarantees the buyer that the goods are free of defects upon receipt. The buyer is entitled to assert rights from a defect that occurs in consumer goods within two years (24 months) from receipt.

7. Out-of-Court Dispute Resolution

7.1. The competent authority for out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes arising from the purchase contract is the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, with registered office at Štěpánská 567/15, 120 00 Prague 2, ID: 000 20 869, website: https://adr.coi.cz.

7.2. The online platform for dispute resolution available at http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr can be used for resolving disputes between the seller and the buyer arising from the purchase contract.

8. Final Provisions

8.1. If the relationship established by the purchase contract contains an international (foreign) element, the parties agree that the relationship shall be governed by Czech law. This does not affect the consumer's rights arising from generally binding legal regulations.
